Kontinum (IFZ, Aequalis, Nebula, Mnestic)

Originally from the northern region of Germany, Jonas moved to Leipzig after enduring two decades of the harsh wind and rain typical to his homeland. Once in Leipzig, he was

immediately struck by the distinctive sounds of the Institute für Zukunft. This experience

catalyzed the beginning of the Kontinum project in 2016, which was characterized by a

heavy emphasis on atmospheric and dissociative techno music.

As Jonas further honed his craft, the breadth of his sonic repertoire expanded significantly.

Nowadays, his range of music extends from the ethereal tones of ambient music to the

profound depths of deep techno, and includes the vibrant, forward-thinking rhythms of

contemporary club-oriented techno.

In 2017, Jonas and several of his friends jointly founded the Nebula collective. Starting off with hosting underground events, Nebula gradually made its mark within the Leipzig club scene, becoming an integral part of the local nightlife over time.

In 2022, Jonas was granted a residency at the Institut fuer Zukunft, where he also began

co-hosting the esteemed Aequalis events. Later that same year, he launched Mnestic

Records, a label he set up as a creative platform to feature music from his friends and

renowned artists in the scene.

Throughout his career, Jonas has consistently striven to refine and develop his own unique sound. His dedication has led to the opportunity to release music on notable labels like The Gods Planet, 012, and Oslated. Jonas, under the Kontinum project, continues to leave his distinctive mark on the techno music scene.
