After becoming obsessed with deep electronic music and underground club culture in the late 1980s, Steve began passionately collecting his favourite tracks on vinyl. His first experience of DJ’ing came by chance when he offered to cover for the resident DJ in a local bar where he worked in his hometown. After the experience he was hooked.

Through some contacts of friends, he soon started a weekly residency in a small local club, which ran for several years. Residencies followed in some of Glasgow and Edinburgh’s well known underground clubs, with guest slots around the country, and he even turned his hand at co-promoting several successful nights in the cities.

Over the following years he was very fortunate to grace the turntables of many underground clubs and festivals, at home and overseas.

Today, that early obsession for deep electronic sounds is still as strong, and he puts together mixes out of a love for deep ambient techno, immersing in hypnotic, tribal, and dub influences.
