Russian duo Namesis & Corvad return for their second release on Soma with the World On Fire EP. After an explosive debut in 2021 with the Rave Is Dead EP, the pair blast back with yet more dark and sinister EBM / techno hybrids back with a stunning remix from the enigma that is Vril.

Dancing Cooler Drugs opens the EP with an ominous sense of purpose, driven by heavy broken beats and a disconcerting vocal chorus. Vrils interpretation of the opening track Dancing Cooler Drugs takes on a more deeper almost electro tone whilst filled with his typical uplifting chords and glacial pads. Title track World On Fire Closes out the EP with a proper industrial, dystopian & cyberpunk feel with thrashing synths and dark distorted vocals.
