For the 11th edition of “Circulating Waves” we are happy to welcome a very like-minded musician and DJ: Kontinum.

Growing up, just like us, in an underground rave scene his dedication to Techno came through the musical driven experience of collectively transcending the known borders in devoting all energy to the moment of here and now. With his Nebula crew he shook the underground with numerous events in Leipzig and beyond.

Fastly the typical dry and straight forward club sound was wearing out for him and he was longing to create his own, deeper, hypnotic interpretation of Techno, which he got to present on well-known institutions like Agos, Lowless, The Gods Planet, Crescent London, NFEREE or Space Textures over the years.

In 2022 his new label will see the light and we are excited for everything coming from his direction in the future!

This mix reduces Techno to its essential elements and represents his typical sound aesthetics. It relies on seemingly endless repetitive loops, deep basslines, subtle, minimalistic percussion paired with weird, psychedelic noises and ghostly arpeggios which will introduce you to a meditative yet stimulating atmosphere.
