After almost a decade immersed in a project focused on the dance floor, Álvaro Aragonés moves to Berlin where he begins a new journey relaxed in bpms.

It is in October 2016, influenced by the different cultures of the cities that give title to the eight songs that compose it, when he self-releases his debut album “A Place To Be”.

Once the project takes shape, it is the Navarran label Sofa Tunes who trusts in Daar -the name that gives life to this new journey- releasing his first EP in cassette format. "Quetzal" is a journey through the jungles of Yucatan and the Mayan civilization with an outstanding IDM air and dub touches.

2018 means his international debut for Daar with a split composed of two completely analog pieces on the Indonesian label “Tandem Tapes”. His first remixes would also see the light, highlighting the one made to the London artist Russian Linesman, known for his program on the British BBC Radio.

Finally 2019 was the year of the producer's confirmation through his artistic residency at the Konvent platform (Barcelona), working and designing his first audiovisual work: BORDERS. The project born from the homonymous EP released in 12" by the Andalusian label F&S Records. 50 minutes of audiovisual immersion through the main border conflicts that plague us in our day to day. The A/V show was presented in cities such as Barcelona, ​​Madrid or Berlin.

2020 pointed out as the year of the return to influences more oriented to the dance floor, but due to the months lived, the final result is a new studio LP that was released by the renowned Silent Season label. "Entire" is a conjunction of ambient textures and field recordings based on recent experiences of the Spanish producer.

Currently and after performing various concerts and A/V projects, Álvaro is working on the composition of a new album with the handicap this time, of incorporating classical musicians and instruments such as Saxophone, Piano, Clarinet or Marimba among others and his Bet on the Korg Wavestation from the late 90s.
