Forgotten Realms

I sit and mourn of long ago,

of times when all was bright.

My wings would sparkle,

my gown so white.

Now it seems I've lost my glow.

The forrest once was all I knew,

the cool waters and the glades.

Now dark and forlorn,

good times abade.

With the forrests all askew.

Where once was green now is gray

the seamless wonders ceased.

The guilded times of playfullness

glades now a brown crease.

The rope swings all are frayed.

From within these forgotten realms

where Gnomes and Fairies dwelt.

I now sit grieving at all times past

My wings have now a wilt.
