The next episode in the Nachtblumen Podcast series comes from Ryogo Yamamori - a Japanese DJ and Producer based in Tokyo, Japan.

He is one of the most known and recognized artists in the local Japanese scene. With over 20 years of experience in the electronic music industry, and playing clubs like Womb and Vent in Tokyo, he also had the chance to tour the world and present his deep, hypnotic driving sound to a wider audience.

‘’I started going to clubs in Japan when I was in high school, which was the beginning of club music. The major influences that came to Japan were New York House, Chicago, Detroit, and later Kraftwerk from Europe. It was around that time that I became interested in DJing and started buying records. I bought so many records that I had no room to walk around. When the digital age came along, I couldn't accept it, so I slept with my records!!’’

Acclaimed also as a producer, Ryogo Yamamori has established a platform of his sounds on 951beat and it has grown to feature some of his closest affiliates including Kan Shinomura, Hisaharu Sato,Skoll,Sinnertia. Ryogo has released on respected labels all around the world including his ‘’Trinity’’ EP on Josh Wink’s Ovum, a contribution to the ‘’Hot Steel 2’’ VA on Nina Kraviz’ трип, and his outstanding work on Psyk’s Non Series. Nowadays his focus is mostly on developing his own imprint Kagerou and releasing a lot of his solo work there!
