After a short break, we’re back with our podcast series with a special improvised back-to-back live session from two members of the collective who recently started playing together.

Arne Kappen from anoserica and Jay Nagel from crouds usually play and produce within their own respective genres, however their mutual affection for the deep, groovy side of techno brought them recently together. This new constellation enables the pair to showcase their proven and tested techniques from previous projects within a different framework. Reaching out of their usual ways of playing, zweivonvier plays that deep, hypnotic techno akin to some of the great Italian influences while keeping a very dominant Detroit-influenced groove with subtle but strong breaks using experimental sound design. Keeping it real and subtle, the pair packs a punch.

With their first official appearence during a collaboration livestream between Sonic Ground and the Shanghai based Metasonar collective, zweivonvier is now presenting an hour of improvised Techno.
