After Cleves first appearance in VA album "Edification", He returns on the label with modular EP "Jessica Knows"

The idea behind "Cleves" is to produce a form of music in which the feeling of time dissolves itself throughout every track, becoming more and more distant as the central patterns repeat themselves.

Based on the translation of basic geometric shapes, every part of each track respond to the others as if they were simple answers to simple equations.

The first two letters preceding every track's number designate the model of composition applied to each track. Each model is designed to be easily assimilated so that intuitions and sensations can't be disturbed by reasoning. "AM" is for "ambience" ; which means : no pulsating rhythm, no breaks, low tempi. "EX" is for "exercise" : two basic interlocking continuous rhythm tracks, no breaks, one take. And finally "ST" is for "structure" : two main parts - the first being a subdivision of the second - clearly separated and completed by secondary patterns after recording.
