Stalagmat is the pillar which forms when a stalagmite and a stalactite connect, which is what this EP is conceptually. Each track telling the story of how each of these bodies came to be, how they grew and the moment in time when they connect into one.

Stalagmat is the result of studying and recreating a cave soundscape while also trying to create a tool for internal traveling and a tool for the transition through the winter solstice.

Deep, dark, rumbling noises, the moisture, vibrating walls and faint distant sounds of water droplets, all while being at the mercy of the cold cave, helpless little human. Can't see anything, can't tell the direction of the sounds, can't hold on to anything because of the moisture. A perfect place to lose oneself.

The first track, Stalagmit is a slow blend of ambient and techno. Really slow progression with the purpose of creating a steady flow. Sort of like a stalagmite growing slowly over millennia.

The second track, Stalaktit was a more synthetic approach to the soundscape and upping the level of intensity.
